Two months later...

Well, that was a mostly uneventful winter... Our days consisted of sitting around in our PJs at Billy's house trying to keep Jessica happy. The job search in this economy was gruesome. And yet I got a job! At a good company on an interesting project, no less! This was my first week, it was mostly just setting up so nothing too exciting to report. What's crazy is before this week, it had been 19 months since I last worked a full work week!

I didn't want to spend 2 hours a day commuting, so we found an apartment in Hillsboro and moved out last weekend. It's actually been pretty great because we only live 10 minutes from my office. I've been coming home for lunch every day and spending time with Kara and Jessica. I love being able to spend extra time in the middle of the day with my baby! It's been almost 6 months that I've been home with her every day, so it's a big change not seeing her so often!

Today after I finished eating my lunch, I fed Jessica some baby food. She started eating baby food about a week ago, and it's been fun introducing new flavors to her. Her first flavor was yellow squash which she seemed to like well enough. Today I feed her peas, which she ate but didn't seem too happy about. Poor baby! haha Tomorrow is carrots, which I'm guessing will go over better since they are kind of sweet. We'll see!
